officially.. 19 more days.. two more events..
and im through..

people say after 2 years..
there’ll be some 依依不舍的 feeling..
but after what happened this week..
im really glad that i wouldnt be seeing this group for the nxt 4 years at least..

anyway.. everything from start to now has been about me..
so..

i am back into the life of serving ns.. zzz..
my week has been relatively..
i dont really know how to put this..

first.. there was this insurance thing that i did on friday..
its some insurance to cover me for my time in uk…
everytime i click on submit, an error message would appear..
so, being singaporean, ill click on it again and again..
and ta-da ! .. i have FIVE emails stating FIVE different quotation numbers..
so.. i called them.. at 8am singapore time..
without realising that its actually midnight there..
i didnt get through anyway and i suspect that singtel will bill me for it..

i tried again today.. and i still couldnt get through for some reason or the other..
so.. i bought skype credits..
dont ask me why i decide to use skype..
i just think that its a little bit easier since i wouldnt have to use the 001 or whatever..
and skype doesnt actually recognise singapore dollars..
so.. i chose australian dollars with the exchange rates in mind.. =)
the standard was buying 16AUD..
and after calling them.. i have 15.70AUD left.. zzz..
all they did was put me on hold for half the call..
and the other half was making me repeat and telling me its only quotations..
not contracts and it doesnt actually matter with FIVE different ones..
owells..

had pa on saturday..
outdoor rehearsal this time.. as usual..
after that.. was to py’s house for mj and stuff..
left in the morning..

last orderly duty yesterday..
quite ok.. considering people were busy with everything else..
i was reading this article by rana foroohar in this ultra outdated newsweek magazine..
on the frontpage it writes :

and on the title of the article..

now that technology is so closely related to our lives..
i kind of feel that what happens online will affect us in reality..
so..

I CLEARED MY MAILBOX !

hahaha.. now im feeling a little happier..

and i really mean i cleared my inbox..
every single email has been deleted..
those emails with passwords and usernames to the uncountable amnt of websites..
and all the emails from facebook and friendster that i missed out..

the only ones that i didn’t delete were those related to my uni stuff..
i moved them to another folder.. so the inbox is empty ! =)

well.. actually theres this one email left inside..
its an email from my friend which i replied to a week or two ago..
just in case i forgot what i had sent..
well.. that’s perhaps coz the reply takes ages.. lolx.. =X

hey hey hey !!

haha.. im in a relatively good mood today..
to me, theres a very very good news..
to the people in camp.. its very very bad news..

guess what ?!

ENGINEER FORMATION SQUASH TEAM IS INTO THE SEMI-FINALS !!

which indirectly suggests that ill only have to book in on wednesday night..
after the finals or 3rd/4th placing..

will be meeting RSAF in the semis..
and will prob meet 9div in the finals or 3rd in the 3rd/4th..

im really really really glad that im involved in this squash thing..
never in the whole of my ns life that i feel im making good use of my time..
it doesnt really matter that the team is made up of people from everywhere else..
and it doesnt really matter that most in the comp are national youth players..
at the end of the day.. i really had alot of fun in the competition..
meeting alot of people and making new friends..

i mean.. it beats being around in camp with the people that ive known for a long long time..
yes.. it looks and sounds wierd and doesnt make sense at all..
to think that im happier being with the people ive barely known for 2 mnths..
compared to those ive known for 20 mnths..

i think its actually because in squash, we are doing smth that we are passionate in..
