today my mum came into my room..
asking me to go and get this video off youtube to show her..
i was wondering what suddenly got into her until i saw the newspaper she was holding on to..

this is the link to the video my mum asked me to show her.. HERE

inside me.. i don’t think she is in the news everywhere because she is good..
although she is quite.. but..
i do believe that it is because.. with her participating..
it showed the reality of human nature..
of how people are so quick to judge others..
before even giving them a chance to show who or how good they are..

watch it.. and you will know..
and the next time anyone of us jump into a conclusion about somebody..
this name will hopefully come up in our minds to remind us.. susan boyle..

training at stm is gonna be over soon..
anw.. been picking up reading again..
finished one book already and now am onto another..
well, figured out that it will save me alot of trouble to get two books..
instead of one at a time..

the book ive finished is :

The Perk – Mark Gimenez

I couldn’t find this anywhere on wiki,
perhaps its because he is a new author..
i like reading legal thrillers.. wonder why i didn’t want to study law though..

anyway.. copied the synopsis that is found on the back cover from his website :

City lawyer Beck Hardin hasn't been back to the small town in Texas where he grew up for more than twenty years. He has history there. Bad memories.

But when his wife dies, Beck decides to return to Fredericksburg with his two young children. Leaving the rat race behind, he re-enters a beautiful but troubled small town simmering with ancient feuds, class rivalries and racial tensions.

As he tries to reconcile with his tough, stubborn father, and adjust back to the pace of small-town life, Beck learns of an unsolved case that has haunted Fredericksburg for the past five years. The statute of limitations on the case is fast approaching, and although Beck vowed to leave the law behind him, he can't resist the opportunity to seek justice.

Yet in taking the case on, Beck has made one of the most dangerous decisions of his life . . .

very very interesting book..
perhaps every thriller that i come across is interesting..
because i can never stand having not to complete the story..

now i’m 11 chapters into this other book called “The first patient” by Michael Palmer..
not legal thriller.. but i don’t really know how to classify it.. medical thriller perhaps ?

the synopsis :

Gabe Singleton and Andrew Stoddard were roommates at the Naval Academy in Annapolis years ago. Nowadays, Gabe is a country doctor and his friend Andrew has gone from war hero to governor to President of the United States. One quiet, rural day, helicopters land on Gabe’s front lawn and out from one of them strides his old friend. The president’s physician has suddenly and mysteriously disappeared, and he needs Gabe to take the man’s place. Gabe reluctantly agrees, but not until he is ensconced in the White House does he realize that strong evidence has been kept from him that the president is going insane. Facing a crisis of conscience surrounding presidential illness and the Twenty-fifth Amendment, Gabe discovers that his friend’s condition may not be of natural causes. Who? Why? And How? The president’s life is at stake. The safety of the world is in jeopardy. Gabe must find the answers, and the clock is ticking..

can’t wait to get on with it..
but for now.. getting some sleep is the way to go..
