this week my shifts really short..
but a longer week.. by half a day..
so.. been home earlier these days w/o OT..
browsed youtube and came across these two videos..
first, taylor swift’s “you belong with me” and
secondly, charice’s first single “note to god”..

quite tired these few days.. hope the extra manpower coming on will lessen the burden..
hope i made the right choice about sunday though.. i think it will be fun.. =)

but im glad its kinda over.. for today..

gotta slp now.. update again another day..
have to wake up in 5 hours to go off for work again..

went to borders and got another book the other day..
its titled “colour of law” by mark gimenez..
quite alright until now..

but anyway..
i was browsing through youtube..
and i found smth i would like as a birthday present !!

alright.. its now after midnight and its already 6 may..

i would say that i had a really pleasant day yesterday..
ok.. it feels bit weird saying “yesterday” since its only 15 mins before..
this is probably one of the quietest and low key birthday ive had..
but pleasant nonetheless..

everybody had a party for their 21st..
i chose not to.. partly its due to my laziness..
alright.. its mostly due to my laziness..
and an excuse i cooked up when someone asked me why..
its because it feels weird to spend money to remind people to wish me happy birthday..
hahahaha.. what a not-so-clever excuse..

its weird how things have progressed socially..
from little diaries that were passed around in pri school..
to online groups set up for information exchanged in small groups..
to networking groups to constantly remind you who’s birthday is coming up..

and i forgot to thank those who wanted to wish me but forgot..
its ok.. =) .. i removed my birth dates so that no reminders will be sent..

just wanna say a big big thank you to…

joyce, meiting, glyn, grace, guirong and xt for remembering..

and also to the company management, monica and the guys in the team..
i know the card that was given to me today is standard practice..
and also that it was pure coincidence that today was the day it was handed to me..
but.. thanks for the wishes today.. =)

and also my family for the cake awaiting me at home after work..

seriously.. i think my level of competency for the english language is getting bad..
i believe it has to do with my job..
because most of the time, im just churning out notes of the calls taken as fast as possible..
and of course, it comes with lots of short forms.

i think its time for me to pay more attention to this blog of mine,
and make an effort to try and improve my english..
rather difficult i believe, considering the time i spend at the office..

anyway.. i was telling my mum i need to get a mug to bring to the office..
its just because we discovered this hot-drinks maker the other day..
its been there for some time.. but we have not really explored the pantry..
anw, back to that machine, a press of a button..
and hot chocolate/mocha or some other drinks which i cant remember will be dispensed into your own cup..
this morning i woke up and discovered this box containing this thermo mug/flask my mum dug out from somewhere..
its smth like the flask that starbucks has, but smaller and its taller than a mug..
so i dont really know what it is.. gonna bring it to office tml.. and see if it can fit into the machine..
hahaha.. i find the pantry an amazing place..
3 fridges, one big tin of biscuits thats almost never empty for hungry people,
lots of powder for coffee, tea blah blah blah.. a few microwave machines..
and two toasters i think.. not forgetting the sofas, lots of seats and tables and daily newspapers..

anyway.. theres a lot of movies that i want to watch thats opening this month..
the month of may never disappoints.. does it ?
made a little list of the movies i want to watch.. anyone interested ?

1. angels and demons
2. x-men origins, wolverine
3. star trek
4. terminator salvation
5. transformers : revenge of the fallen

thats about it i think.. will add on if i remember..
it seems all of them are action movies..
perhaps with the exception of angels and demons.. depending on how you classify it..
i think its time to find smth to do since i dont feel the need to sleep yet..
and i think im spending way too much time looking for smth to watch on youtube..

speaking of which.. i hope i am able to wake up early so that i can get smth nice to eat before going to work..
just saw subways advertisement saying $5.90 for a 6 inch sandwich with drink and 2 cookies.. hahaha..
yum yum.. but i feel like eating pasta mania’s baked rice..
and someday, ikea’s poached salmon and/or meatball pasta.. =)
pasta mania’s price is putting me off.. and ikea’s distance is making me think thrice..
shall decide again tml.. afterall..
i shouldn’t be worrying about tml..
otherwise ill be worrying about everyday i live..
since today is the day i worried about yesterday..
and tml’s a brand new day.. =)

its been another week of work..
i think im liking this job already.. other than the calls though..

anyway.. did i mention my phone gave up on me ?
the buttons on the slide up portion suddenly stopped working..
making me only able to answer calls by sliding up the phone.. and doing nth else..
so.. went scouting for a new phone..
didnt know my army phone was still around with mt though.. hahaha..
but its ok.. because i found this model.. also samsung..
very thin.. and light.. and basic..
and guess where i found out about it ?
7-11 !! LOL.. the handphone shops didnt carry this at all !
they were trying to persuade me to get this thicker nokia phone..
i’m so glad i didnt give in to my laziness..

so..
presenting my new phone !!

hahaha.. yup.. its the identical to the one in this picture..
yes yes.. and its in red.. LOL..
i havent used a red phone before though.. hahaha..
besides.. it was the only colour available..

hhmm.. two days off in a row.. starting work on tues..
everyday will be 1230 to 10pm.. breakfast / supper anyone ?
hahaha..
